Modernizing a complex transportation network

The client, a global transport systems leader, embarked on an ambitious initiative to modernize a sprawling 6.4 km network with a cutting-edge signaling upgrade. Tasked with reimagining a system dating back to the 1920s, Amaris Consulting, a Mantu brand, faced the challenge of integrating the verification and approval processes of complex subsystems, developing seamless integration procedures, and synchronizing requirements to ensure a successful outcome.

The project united innovation with railway expertise, seamlessly blending systems engineering practices and tools like DOORS (an acronym for Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System – an IBM tool) and subsystem simulators. This fusion ensured streamlined integration and unwavering reliability.
