July, 2025
At the beginning of July 2025, Mantu’s Executive Committee signed the DEI Charter to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion at Mantu.
What does DEI mean?
DEI stands for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. At Mantu, we create an environment free from discrimination and ensuring equal opportunities for all employees, regardless of any forms of discrimination. That’s why we have created the DEI Charter in order to prioritize diversity, equity and inclusion in alignment with our mission.
What are our objectives?
We strive to create concrete actions that promote equal opportunities in our company and value chain. We do so through 5 key pillars:
1. Ensure the application of the non-discrimination principle at all stages of the employment relationship and promote equal opportunities for all.
Through both local and global initiatives, such as our new Parental Policy, empowerment programs, inclusive job opportunities, and other initiatives aimed at reducing inequalities and promoting equitable access to resources and opportunities.
2. Foster an accessible and inclusive workplace for people with disabilities.
For example, we are actively investing in local partnerships to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities. Each year in November, we mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities through a series of engaging and educational activities, while fostering a culture of inclusion and accessibility across Mantu.
3. Strengthen gender equity to ensure balanced representation and equal opportunities.
For gender equity, Mantu’s goal is to achieve 34,3% of women in top and middle management positions by 2029.
4. Support the professional integration of young people by developing initiatives that facilitate their entry and career progression.
Since 2023, we have been running a pilot program in Colombia called “Coding Queendom”, designed to empower young women from diverse backgrounds. The program combines software development training with hands-on consulting experience, enabling participants to strengthen their academic foundations while gaining real-world exposure. This initiative actively contributes to closing the gender gap in the IT sector by creating pathways into tech careers for underrepresented women.
5. Establish a DEI management system to track progress and continuously improve our practices.
We have established a dedicated DEI governance structure at Mantu, bringing together team members from Human Resources, Recruitment, and Sustainability to work collectively on diversity, equity, and inclusion. As part of this effort, we have also launched three employee resource groups focused on: gender equity and disability inclusion in the workplace.
By signing this charter, we commit, individually and collectively, to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion at Mantu. We believe that an inclusive and respectful environment enables every individual to feel valued and contribute to our collective success. As Mantu team members, we pledge to integrate these principles into our daily work and actively promote them among colleagues, partners, and clients.
