One could summarize the Account Manager role through its commercial dimensions: targets, KPIs, clients to win over. That would mean missing the point entirely.
At LittleBig Connection, the role is far broader. It touches on strategy, human connection, and international reach and it evolves constantly with clients and opportunities. Florian and Sarah-Li are the best people to explain why.

Building your own strategy, from the start
Florian joined LittleBig Connection six years ago as an Account Manager in the Lyon region. Today, he manages a team of five people and leads business development across the entire Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Sarah-Li joined a year and a half ago and works directly with him in Lyon.
What their duo illustrates from the outset is something relatively rare in the world of consulting and business development: genuine freedom to act, supported by close management built on trust.
"It is about handing the keys over to your team members so they can develop their business unit commercially."
From the moment she arrived, Sarah-Li was trained in the role, then supported in building her own commercial strategy with her own action plans, KPIs, and initiatives. Not a script to follow, but a territory to explore with an engaged and available manager alongside her.
Far more than a commercial role
One of the surprises for many Account Managers who join LittleBig Connection is the strong community dimension of the job. Developing an account is not simply about signing missions: it is about creating lasting relationships, animating an ecosystem, and being present in a way that is both useful and memorable.
Sarah-Li, for example, organized a breakfast event at one of their clients' offices, bringing together consultants and operational managers in a shared space. A simple gesture on the surface but one that significantly strengthened their presence and credibility on the account.
"That is also what our job is about: animating this community."
That is where the real value lies, not in the volume of contacts, but in the quality of the relationships built over time.
A day-to-day that never looks the same twice
Sarah-Li says it with genuine enthusiasm: since she arrived, she has never really done the same thing twice. LittleBig Connection's clients come from very different sectors, industrial design, engineering, IT, marketing, and the profiles they are looking for are as varied as the assignments themselves.
"We never get bored. There are so many different topics, so many different people to work with."
For an Account Manager, this translates into a permanent learning curve, a curiosity that becomes a genuine competitive advantage, and a way of growing quickly on subjects one would never have imagined mastering in such a short time.
An international dimension at the core of the role
Working with major accounts often means working at a global scale and this is a reality that Florian and Sarah-Li experience concretely every day.
Florian describes a particularly memorable project: a Lyon-based client whose deployment needed to cover every continent: Canada, South America, India. At each stage, new interlocutors, new cultures, time zone differences to factor into the organization.
"Every time, it requires adapting culturally. And behind all of it, the goal is for the client to be satisfied and to feel properly supported."
This international dimension is not reserved for a handful of senior profiles. It is part of the daily reality, driven by the nature of LittleBig Connection’s clients and by internal teams spread across the world.
In this ecosystem, the Account Manager holds a central position: collaborating with administrative, financial, marketing, and product teams, creating synergies and ensuring information flows where it is needed.
Demanding, but deeply fulfilling
Florian and Sarah-Li do not shy away from what the role demands: rigor, a sharp business sense, the ability to sustain effort over time, and the capacity to juggle many subjects simultaneously. But what they describe with even greater conviction is the fulfillment this role brings.
"It is a job I am passionate about. That is important to say. I love what I do."
That may be the true singularity of the role at LittleBig Connection: a job that challenges deeply, carried by a management culture that trusts and supports without ever holding you back.
