Mantu Mauritius at a glance
Five nationalities work at the Mauritius Hub: Mauritian, French, Romanian, Rodriguan, and Tanzanian. Mauritian Creole, French, and English are the main working languages in the office.
Mauritius is home to around 975 ICT/BPO companies, giving it an established position as a multilingual global-services hub connecting business across Africa, Europe, and Asia.
The Hub is organised mainly around Finance and Operations, with between 85 and 100 people working across accounting, billing, recovery, and operations support out of 165 total. People here handle tasks such as auditing, bank account reconciliation, and issuing bills while keeping cash flow accurate, and profiles range from recent graduates to experienced professionals.
Amaris Consulting, LittleBig Connection, Eleven VMS, Valuement, and Portalia are all part of Mantu, each running its own business activities while teams in Mauritius support their finance and operational needs, alongside broader shared services for Mantu's activities on the island. Some accounting teams work across every brand rather than a single one.
The roles most often recruited for include Accounting Officer, Billing Specialist, Recovery Officer, and Operational Manager. The Hub recruits according to hiring managers' needs throughout the year, rather than on a fixed seasonal cycle.
Phoenix sits at the centre of the island, close to universities and to a pool of qualified talent, with transport links that make the commute straightforward. Its position, close to competitors without sitting in the same cluster, gives the Hub a clear edge for this type of work.
How the Mauritius Hub supports Mantu
Over the past few years, the Hub's role has shifted from operational support to a more strategic position within the group.
Keeping finance and billing accurate across Europe
The Hub's accounting, billing, and recovery teams serve clients across France and Europe, and their work often spans several Mantu brands at once. Their accuracy keeps invoicing, cash flow, and financial reporting reliable for the group.
"From Phoenix, our teams keep finance, billing and operations moving across Europe. What makes the Hub special is the way people build expertise here and grow into new roles within Mantu."
Supporting Little Big Connection's daily operations
Little Big Connection relies most on the Hub for delivery support, with more than 40 people contributing to its day-to-day operations. Their work covers onboarding new customers, preparing and renewing contracts, and managing billing queries, so that businesses and external talent can collaborate smoothly. Colleagues in Mauritius communicate regularly with teams and clients across Europe, and their work depends on accurate information, clear communication, and consistent follow-up.
Supporting Amaris Consulting's hiring needs
Alongside its corporate and finance roles, the Hub also supports recruitment for consulting and specialist profiles linked to Amaris Consulting when local hiring needs require it. Current careers listings include Amaris Consulting opportunities connected to Mauritius, including specialist roles.
Life at the Mauritius Hub
The Mauritius office runs on an open-space layout, so teams can work closely throughout the day.
People engagement stands out at the Hub, driven by an Event Committee that organises activities, collects ideas, and gives colleagues time to connect outside their daily work, from cultural celebrations and festive gatherings to team-building days, sports events, and community-focused initiatives. These events bring together colleagues from different teams, backgrounds, and levels of experience, reinforcing a sense of belonging across the Hub.
Participation plays a central role in shaping office life. People actively contribute ideas, volunteer to organise activities, and help build a positive experience for their colleagues. Combined with the Hub's diverse workforce and collaborative environment, this sense of community is one of the qualities that sets the Mauritius Hub apart.
Managers also make time for feedback and communication. In 2025, new joiners gave the Hub an average score of 9.5 out of 10 for their first-month experience, and most reported feeling welcomed from day one.
