Mantu Barcelona at a glance
Mantu's Barcelona Hub brings together around 400 people. The city is one of the leading digital centres in Europe, home to over 2,400 startups and major scale-ups.
The roles recruited most often are Manager, Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS), Software Developer, Project Manager, and Cybersecurity Engineer. Other profiles are recruited less often, such as AI Engineer, ServiceNow Developer, and Cloud Architect. Most of the Communication and Marketing team is also based in Barcelona. In any case, Barcelona offers the possibility to move across different functions and develop new skills.
“Barcelona gives people a chance to stay close to delivery while building experience across brands, technologies and markets. Someone may join as a consultant, move into AI consulting and later take on responsibility for a wider team.”
How the Barcelona Hub supports Mantu
More than an operational hub, Mantu Barcelona has become a strategic one. Barcelona's tech centre handles genuine decision-making and serves clients globally, while offering competitive costs. That mix of talent depth, worldwide pull, and cost-efficiency makes it well suited to nearshore/offshore consulting models.
Delivering across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM
European markets sit close to the Hub, while regular collaboration with colleagues in other regions connects projects across time zones. Delivery models can combine local support with expertise from other Mantu offices. Each brand has its own activities, but the shared workplace lets people meet colleagues from other business areas and professional communities.
Connecting local delivery with a wider network of skills
Barcelona handles services for the local market, while colleagues in other countries contribute project management expertise, giving clients access to nearby support and a wider network of skills. Work like this keeps the Hub close to delivery while linking its teams with colleagues across Mantu. For instance, since 2025, one project has brought together teams in Barcelona, Switzerland, Italy, and the Czech Republic to build a cross-country Project Management Centre of Excellence for a consumer goods organisation. This combination of local and expanded collaboration helps position Mantu as a preferred partner.
Life at the Barcelona Hub
The Hub is based in a bright, open office in central Barcelona.
Many coworking spaces are available, starting with the Coffice. This main room offers another place to work together while enjoying coffee or fruit. Teams hold client and consultant meetings there, organise creative events, and use the space to exchange ideas.
"I'm proud of the working environment we have at the Mantu Hub: bright, open, always clean, and in a fantastic location in the city. Sharing the space with other Mantu brands makes it easy to connect and collaborate across them, and the coffee area and meeting rooms give us everything we need to host workshops and get-togethers with our teams and clients."
Some creative events are sporting, like a table tennis championship, while others are cultural, like Spanish classes. Everyone can also propose and create brand new events for team building. The main goal is to spark interest across Mantu's teams.
Alongside these community moments, people joining the Hub often find a mix of demanding work and everyday flexibility. Teams focus on the quality of their projects while leaving room for collaboration and personal well-being.
Barcelona's talent pool brings together people with different backgrounds, market knowledge, and technical experience. Spanish, English, and French support daily communication, while the mix of nationalities adds different perspectives to the way teams work across regions.
Quarterly town halls keep people informed about business updates and team priorities; technical workshops give technology communities space to share project work and discuss developments in their field; and We Talk sessions bring colleagues from all brands together in the Coffice. These meetings strengthen regular contact across brands and teams, helping people stay connected to work beyond their immediate area.
Where local expertise meets opportunities across Mantu
Career development in Barcelona can take several directions: while some people deepen their technical expertise, others move into project delivery, product, business development, or team leadership.
For consultants, progression can lead to team lead, delivery management, or broader account responsibilities. People can also change function, join another Mantu brand, or develop expertise in a new area, such as AI consulting. These moves let people build on their existing experience while taking on wider responsibilities.
The next step depends on individual strengths, career goals, and the needs of the business. People in Barcelona can access Mantu Academy, Training Path programmes, technical certifications, coaching, and management development resources. Worldwide projects also give them opportunities to work with teammates across the relevant regions, and to broaden their professional scope over time.
Build your next chapter in Barcelona
Barcelona brings delivery and career development into the same working environment. People can stay close to project work, learn from different areas of expertise, and shape their next step over time. Some deepen their consulting or technical specialism, while others move towards team leadership, product, business, or AI roles.
The Hub suits people who want a large scope with a direct connection to the work they deliver every day.
