Enhancing automation for an insurance leader

Challenge

A home, automobile and life insurance services company wanted to spearhead a robotic process automation (RPA) initiative. This involved setting up a center of excellence as well as crafting an expansive automation process pipeline. Integral to this initiative was the establishment of a robotic operation model (ROM) and the creation of a business case that clearly outlined the specific processes destined for automation.

Achievements

Amaris Consulting, a Mantu brand, conducted a series of seven workshops aimed at assisting the insurance company with the development of their RPA initiative. The workshops touched on topics such as role and vision definition, and intricate matters like the design of organizational, delivery, operational, and infrastructure models. The Amaris Consulting team also supported the client in developing key RPA processes, seamlessly integrating necessary infrastructure, delving into process discovery within operational domains, and meticulously adhering to the insurance company’s security protocols.

Client benefits

The insurance company emerged from the workshops with clearly defined roles, a refined organizational model, an initial automation roadmap, and a carefully selected pipeline of eight critical processes. This strategic pipeline led to the automation of over 45,000 hours within a span of six months.
