Jenny, Customer Support Officer at LittleBig Connection – From Mauritius to India.

“Since the company allowed work from everywhere, I was drawn to the idea of experiencing new cultures and exploring the world while advancing my career. The flexibility and adventure of being a digital nomad truly appealed to me.”

For Silvia, Senior Consultant at Amaris Consulting, the Digital Nomad Program allowed her to explore Asia.

I wanted a bigger challenge. So, I decided to explore Southeast Asia, living in places like Thailand and Indonesia while still managing my work remotely. It was a great experience, balancing new adventures with maintaining my professional responsibilities.”

Eligibility & key information

The demand for working abroad is growing rapidly, with over 35 million digital nomads worldwide and more than 50 countries now offering Digital Nomad Visas (source: World Tourism Organization). At Mantu, we’re embracing this evolution by giving our people the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the world through our Digital Nomad Program.

✅ Eligibility: The program is available to all Mantu employees who meet specific performance and seniority criteria.

✅Approval process: To join the program, you’ll need approval from both your Manager and the HR team. Applications will be reviewed based on your role, performance, and business needs.

✅Logistics: People participating in the program are fully responsible for managing all logistical and administrative requirements related to their stay abroad. This includes securing the necessary visas or permits, handling tax and insurance obligations, and arranging accommodation.
Mantu does not provide administrative assistance or financial support for these formalities.

✅Work commitments: Throughout the duration of the program, employees are expected to:

  • Maintain full-time availability during agreed working hours
  • Ensure access to a stable and reliable internet connection at all times

Léna, Senior Communication Officer at Mantu.

Every day is a new adventure. It’s just easier to spot when you’re away, but it’s really how I lived it—discovering new places in Korea while keeping work was exciting. This experience proved that I could travel without giving up my job, and that balance was a challenge worth taking.

Tips from our team: How to prepare

Success as a digital nomad starts with the right preparation:

  • Collaborate with your team: Have a conversation with your manager and colleagues to determine the best work arrangement, keeping time zones and responsibilities in mind.
  • Test your setup: A stable internet connection is a must. Test your workspace before you start to avoid any surprises.
  • Plan ahead: Take care of the logistics—research visa requirements, accommodation options, and legal obligations well in advance.
  • Stick to a routine: While flexibility is great, having a structured workday is key to staying productive and balancing work with travel.

For Hélène, Tech Lead at LittleBig Connection.

“It was a big challenge when I first decided to go, as this kind of program didn’t exist yet. But with the support of HR and my team, I found a way to balance my job and my new life abroad. The real adjustment was figuring out time zones and staying connected with my team while exploring new places. But it was totally worth it.”

For Kévin, Senior Consultant at Amaris Consulting – the challenge was adapting to different work environments. “It wasn’t always smooth. Some places had bad Wi-Fi, some were too noisy—but I learned how to make it work. It’s part of the adventure!

Returning to the office: making the transition smooth

After three months of remote work, reintegrating into office life can require a period of adjustment. Here’s how our digital nomads manage the transition:

  • Re-adapting to the office routines
  • Sharing insights with our community
  • Receiving support through our alumni channel
  • Bringing fresh ideas and challenges to the team

Kévin, Senior Consultant at Amaris Consulting, went from Canada to Mexico – “Coming back to the office after some months of remote work gave me a fresh perspective. I returned with new ideas and a renewed appreciation for my team.”
