The bank prides itself on its digital and innovative outlook, adapting and evolving along with society and its clients’ expectations. As the metaverse is being heralded as an important technological innovation, Banque Populaire Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes were keen to position itself properly to be able to leverage this emerging technology. It reached out to Novelab to help it with this transition.
Novelab designed a three-step immersive experience that educated the bank about the metaverse and its impact on the business world while also enabling the bank’s leadership to experience metaverse technologies for themselves. This experience was launched during a Banque Populaire Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes’ management event.
The metaverse experience began with a 25-minute keynote by two Novelab experts. They provided an overview of the metaverse concept and what it promises for the future of work and banking.
Novelab then invited some of the bank’s people to the stage to experience the custom virtual world which it had created specifically for the event. Three people from the audience were able to test the experience on headsets. The rest of the audience was able to see the experience thanks to a live video feed that was being transmitted onto onstage screens. The event also provided a metaverse workshop for fifty of the bank’s people, allowing a larger segment of the talent to community to enjoy an immersive experience.
